“This piece is one that came to me while in the process of designing what ultimately became emerging species. I was drawing on a sketch pad one idea after an other and this sketch happened. I went on to the giraffe and that whole style takes most of my creative energy. This sketch kid of haunted me and I knew I had to do it in these materials. So I did”. The consummation of Beauty is a hand made original by Greg Neeley. Greg carved and polished the marble, sculpted the figure and after it was cast in stainless steel he assembled and finished the steel himself. |
